Lady came as a package deal with another mare, both of which were born on an Amish farm in Iowa on almost the same day. Their 2008 colts were born on the exact same day AND the colts nursed off either mare. Extremely gentle, these mares were apparently broke to ride when they were younger, but did not put up a fuss when we saddled and rode them. Advertised as "green broke," all this girl needs is a few wet saddle blankets and she'll be a fine camp horse. We can't wait to see pictures of her 2009 foal.
